Workshop Overview
The Windchill Hands-on Workshop, jointly organized by NEAX and PTC, is designed for engineers and technical professionals who want to experience PTC Windchill directly in a practical, hands-on environment.
Participants will work directly on a system provided by NEAX and experience a complete engineering workflow designed to be structured, controlled, and fully traceable.
Engineering Change Control
Fast Track, Change Request, Change Notice, task assignment and review.
Creo, 3D Review & Release
Revise CAD/WTPart, edit in PTC Creo, Check In, create 3D viewables, compare revisions, review and move data to Released.

PDM Overview & CAD Data Management
- Understand the core concepts: Workspace, Check-in/out, Revision vs Iteration, CAD vs WTPart.
- Understand the Fast Track change workflow.

Initiate & Assign Changes
- Approve a Change Request through the Fast Track process.
- Create a Change Notice, divide tasks, assign responsible users/reviewers and finalize the affected-data list.

Hands-On CAD Modification & Version Update
- Use Revise to create a new revision for both CAD and WTPart.
- Check Out, update the model in Creo, then Check In with a 3D viewable.
- Visually compare the previous and updated 3D versions before submitting for review.

Review, Data Release & Q&A
- Reviewer checks the 3D data.
- The system automatically moves data to Released and closes the change request as Resolved.
- Wrap-up and Q&A.
